A Springtime Maternity Session in the Woodsy Open Fields of San Diego, California

Just a few days into spring and I was so excited to photograph this fun family, maternity session with the beautiful Mindy, her husband Kevin and their adorable daughter Rizza. At first, I had to work pretty hard to get a smile out of this little cutie, but she eventually warmed up to me and I’m so happy we caught a few of her giggles in the photos. She looked like a princess as she rocked her flower crown and even found some lady bugs during our photoshoot adventure in the open fields. She is so stunning and I can’t wait to see how beautiful baby #2 will be, too!

Mindy showed up in a gorgeous, flowy white dress and her flawless makeup done by the talented Vanny Nguyen. This coming week, these two will be celebrating their third wedding anniversary and I’m so thankful I could share in a small part of the celebration by capturing some fun moments of this loving family before they welcome their second baby girl into the world.
