I drove up to the house in Quincy, Massachusetts and saw the beautiful bride-to-be standing by the window. It was our first time ever meeting in person, but I felt like I had known her for years. Loula contacted me almost two years ago about being her wedding photographer, after finding my work on instagram! Being from California, we had been looking forward to this trip to the Boston area for a while now and Pat and I were so excited to capture the special day for Loula and Kosta!
These two love birds met when she was 16 and he was 19. They worked together for year and Kosta even took her to prom, even though they weren’t dating. He made a CD for her of all his favorite love songs and soon enough, won over Loula’s heart. A few days after her birthday, Kosta brought her to the Strega waterfront for a romantic dinner. They later went to the tavern at granite links to look over the city of Boston. They got out of the car and their song was playing on the radio. Kosta pulled her in tight for a hug, had a ring in his hand and asked her if she’d be his star. :)
From the moment I met Loula and Kosta, I knew their wedding day was going to be one of the best I had ever been a part of. There was so much love between them and their family and friends (and AMAZING bridal party) made the day absolutely unforgettable. Pat and I love when we get to work with awesome bridal parties who don’t mind having a little fun and being in front of the camera. :) We got to experience their amazing cultures, tied together on their special day and we felt so honored to be able to capture those moments forever.
Loula & Kosta – THANK YOU so much for everything!!! We had a blast in Boston and exploring the city with you two. Your wedding day was so beautiful and I hope you cherish these photos for years to come. :) I wish we lived closer so we could go on some double dates!! Both Pat and I loved how quickly we “clicked” and felt like we had known you both for years. I hope we see you guys again in the future and I hope that you know, whenever you’re in California – you are ALWAYS welcome. :) xoxo
