What an amazing day!! The last time I had been to Lake Tahoe was a few years ago when I photographed a wedding there. It was such a beautiful area so I was really excited to get the opportunity to go back! Kristina and I went to high school together and I always thought she was the sweetest thing! From one of our first conversations after the proposal, she told me that she wanted to do the engagement session in Lake Tahoe. I knew it was going to be good. BUT…I had no idea it would be THIS good. :) Kristina is one of the most organized, detailed oriented (not to mention drop-dead gorgeous) women I’ve ever met. She was amazing with pulling all the details together for this shoot and making sure we were taken care of! Just wait until you see her adorable picnic setup with the wine, chocolate and grapes! Her fiance, David is an awesome guy and I soon discovered he is also a man of many talents. He is a singer/songwriter for Fate Under Fire and I was seriously blown away by their stuff. You have to check them out!

The engagement session was absolutely wonderful. The weather was perfect and I felt like it was Christmas when we lucked out with one of the most breath-taking sunsets I’ve ever seen! My favorite thing about these two is their ability to constantly laugh with each other. It makes it so easy to photograph people who genuinely have so much fun together! We also got to work with Darin Reyes Productions, who will be filming the wedding next summer. Darin is an incredibly talented film maker and was so fun to work with – I can’t wait to see the video he put together from our session! Kristina & David’s wedding will be held in Napa, CA next summer and there is no doubt in my mind it will be one of my favorite weddings of the year. Counting down the days until their special wedding day!!
