Nikki & Chad’s wedding was one I will never forget. Our paths first crossed last year when I photographed one of her best friend’s weddings. Though, I had no idea I would later have the pleasure of photographing her wedding as well! Nikki & Chad have two sons who are so adorable and handsome. It was special seeing how much love their family shared and I loved how they were such a big part of their wedding.

I arrived early to Tom Ham’s Lighthouse to photograph some of the details and I ran into Nikki’s florist, Zeyda of The Little Fleur Co. She was so sweet and helpful! And her floral design work is to die for. So talented!! When Nikki arrived, I gave her a big a hug and couldn’t believe how stunning she was. Her hair and makeup looked amazing, thanks to Lizbeth of BeLoved Hair & Makeup. But what stood out even more to me was how sweet and thoughtful Nikki was. The wedding day is all about bride, but she kept asking me if I needed anything and if there was any way she could help out. She peeked out the window and saw her guests starting to arrive and she got so excited to get the day started!

My favorite part of their ceremony was when her father walked her down the aisle. You could tell what a great relationship and special bond they shared. Nikki started to cry and I looked around at her guests as some started to wipe tears from their eyes as well. Nikki and Chad grasped their hands together with the biggest smile looking into each others eyes, and their two sons standing by their sides. After the ceremony, we all headed to Tom Ham’s Lighthouse for the reception.

I couldn’t get over the breath-taking sunset that night, which painted the colorful sky and made for perfect pictures!! I’m so incredibly happy for Nikki & Chad and their new chapter as husband and wife. Enjoy some of my favorites from their lovely wedding day!
